I write this letter as an "Annual Report" outlining what we did with your Culture Club Membership contributions last year and ask you to consider joining again this year to support the Cultural Work we do through Java River.

Cultural Events & Equipment Supported by this Investment:

· Number of Concerts Java River has Sponsored Since last August: 20

· Number of Poetry Readings: 1

· Number of Plays/ Theatrical Experiences: 3

· Purchase Price of Professional Shure SM 58 Microphone and Outdoor Speakers for these and other events: $650

Art Exhibits and Art Income Supported by this Investment:

· Number of Fireside Room Gallery Exhibits of Local Artists: 12

· Art Sales from the Java River Fireside River Gallery (that went directly to local Artist's pockets) : $4,500

Discussion Groups and Meetings Supported By this Investment:

· Number of Book Readings/ Local History Discussions and Seminars: 8

· Number of Initial Regional "Art Crawl" Meetings Organized by Java River: 3

· Number of Meetings/ Brainstorming Sessions Held by Various Non Profit Groups in the Java River Confluence Room this past year: 67

Ongoing Cultural & Education Activities:

All are Held in Java River's Confluence Room!

We are Creating and Sustaining Culture! We couldn't do this work and provide this place without your continued patronage and membership dollars. We pledge to continue to make Java River a special place for Local Culture to grow. But we need your support!
