Janell Koenen
Bio:
Janell Koenen is a photographer who resides in Montevideo. She graduated
from the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul in 1994 with a BFA and a concentration
in photography. Janell also received a degree in interior design from
the Alexandria Vocational Institute. Her art has been displayed at the
Minnesota State Fair; the Blair Arcade, St. Paul; Amsterdam Cafe, St.
Paul; Sebastian Joe's, Minneapolis; Garrick Building, St. Paul; Minneapolis
Photographers' Gallery; Southern Theater, Minneapolis; and the MCTO Bus,
a public exhibit on the bus line from Minneapolis to St. Paul. Her work
has received honorable mention at the Minnesota State Fair, and she received
a project grant from Forcast Public Art Affairs.
