Tamara Isfeld
Bio:
Award Winning Granite Falls based artist Tamara Isfeld has a fabulous show
in the Java River Fireside Room Gallery. The majority of the work displayed
is done from photos of people and places that are significant to the artist
who makes use of several different mediums including oils, acrylic, watercolor
and pencil. According to Tamara:
“Art is the vehicle which I can share all of life’s joys,
concerns, opinions and new ideas. My art isn’t about what I see
but what I try to help others see. As an artist I strive to define ordinary
moments to capture the spirit of the human experience. That is what I
am trying to re-create . . The sense of magic in the world that is always
there if we just take a moment to observe it. Most of all, it is capturing
the moment. Life goes by so fast we need to take a moment to see the blessings
that family, friends and a sense of place can bring.”
Tamara also does portrait work, book covers, illustrations and logos on
a commission basis.
