Bradley Hall
Bio:
Brad is a watercolor artist living and painting from his studio in Granite
Falls, Minnesota. His artwork began with creating hand-painted pen and
ink Christmas cards for family and friends. He is now branching out into
full size watercolor paintings. He also carves linoleum blocks for printing
with his buddy, Andy, at A to Z Letterpress.
Some of his current inspirations are the local architecture, the river
valley and the prairies. He said, "I don't think many people realize
how beautiful this area is. I love to travel the country roads searching
for a hidden valley, or a broken down old barn or shed. For a landscape
artist like me, there is a lot of inspiration here."
He received the majority of his training at the American Academy of Art
in Chicago. Currently, he is working full time as a graphic artist in
Dawson. He hopes to realize his dream of painting watercolors full-time
in the near future.
